Newest Mosaic Project

I love summer time! I have time to work on my own projects! Here is a project that I have been wanting to do for months- I finally had to time to do it!

I found the purple tray on clearance for under $5. The mosaic pieces are dishes that I found at the Texas Art Asylum for under $4. I grouted it with black grout and then added an acryllic coating to finish it off.

The only issue I had was with the acryllic coating. Lots of bubbles! I used my blow dryer to heat it and that helped get rid of a lot of the bubbles.

This project will be heading to Kentucky, to my sister-in-law.
